One day Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey because that’s what true and humble kings do. The people were happy for Jesus to be their leader. So, to honor Him they covered the road with their coats and tree branches.
However, not everyone thought Jesus should be king. Some religious men were pretenders who actually hated him. They had a plan to kill Jesus and gave His pretender friend Judas 30 pieces of silver to help them capture Jesus.
